Redeeming Church Conflicts

Videos & Photos (Lord willing!) to Come Soon (Please pray!)

May 1st was the official publication date for Redeeming Church Conflicts, so Cap’n Dave (my coauthor) and I are going to spend the entire day with a photographer (the incredibly gifted Brooke Moore) and a videographer (the likewise incredibly gifted and super-cute Fred Barthel), trying to capture some promotional materials for the book. Ken Sande and some other friends too have generously cleared some time in their schedules to join in the fun.

So now it’s time to channel my inner Southside-Fellowship-LTGIR-Creating-Team (no one is helping me with hair! makeup! soaping my necklace! noticing when my collar is sticking straight up! yeek!) and do my best to look presentable. At least I’m comfortable with the content. I’m actually excited about THAT part—lifting high the Lord Jesus? Reviewing key precepts from His Word? Serving the Bride? Love it! Getting my picture taken? Um. Not so much. But we’ll all just do our best and leave the results to the Lord.

Please do pray for us, though—especially that our content would be Christ-exalting, hopeful, biblical, and helpful. (And brief for me. That’d be a miracle.) And also for Fred as he single handedly is juggling lights, sound, set, and cameras. We pray for no technology breakdowns.

Oh! And I just remembered … today would be a great day to order a copy because it’s the only time until this fall’s Peacemaker Conference that Dave and I could both sign your copy. (We’re also sitting down at the end of the day and signing 50+ books that we need to send to people.) Just note on the order form if you’d like us to sign it.

Thanks, friends. Hope you have a blessed day—

Yours,
Tara B.
