No Ground to Say That Something is Wrong?

This six-part exploration of ethics by The Colson Center and The Witherspoon Institute resonated deeply with my “being the devil’s advocate” and arguing the wrong and illogical point of view in class this week to push my students to THINK. (I tried hard to argue that torturing children for fun in my village is morally good. You know. Cultural relativism all the way to norms—who are you to say that what we approve in our  tribe / country / family is “wrong”? Who are you to judge me? That might be “right for you” or “true for you” but “it’s not true for me.” And on and on and on and on ….)

I’m very interested in this series and pray that God will bless all of the many people involved with its creation and promotion:
