Relationships & Peacemaking

Foundational Peacemaking Principles that I Mentioned on Wellspring Radio Today … (and a Giveaway!)

What a joy it was to spend an hour with Joanna Weaver of Wellspring Radio! Thank you, Joanna, for the privilege of introducing your listeners to the foundational biblical peacemaking principles of Peacemaker Ministries.

As promised, here are the links to the peacemaking tools we discussed:

And just because I love introducing people to these foundational principles, our family would like to do a WIN FREE STUFF GIVEAWAY! Here are the details:

  1. Leave a comment on this post by 5:00PM (Mtn), Thursday, November 8, 2013 and I will enter your name in a drawing to win one copy of my three core resourcesPeacemaking Women (book), Redeeming Church Conflicts (book), and The Peacemaker Women’s Study: Living the Gospel in Relationships (video series).
  2. If you tell anyone else about this giveaway (via Twitter / Facebook / your blog, etc.), let me know and I’ll give you an extra entry for every venue in which you tell people about this post.
  3. IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to check back after 5:00pm next Thursday (November 8) to see if you’ve won–and be sure I have your contact information. If I don’t have a way to reach you, I will draw a new name for the giveaway.

I hope these resources are a blessing to you! Thanks again, Joanna, for the interview.

Tara has been such a blessing to me. I first met her at a PresWIC retreat at Fall Creek Falls. I hope to have her speak to the women at our church in Chattanooga, TN.

Tara: Thank so much for the Freebie opportunity! I have your Peacemaking Women book along with Study Guide & Journal. I forwarded this blessing opportunity to my peacemaker pal, Annette Ferriole, who is a certified Peacemaker conciliator. God Bless You and your ministry!

  • Patrick Drury

I shared this with two women in my church. I’m working to empower women to advance peacemaking here as well as more directly training the men. Thank you for you work to advance the gospel within the church!

What a fantastic resource to provide to women, especially Moms, who deal with conflict and are giving more opportunities to peacemaking than most anybody. This would be greatly appreciated and shared and promoted among my networking groups of Children’s Ministry Directors, Preschool Directors, and Confirmation classes. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

Hi, Tara. Please enter us into this giveaway. We have tweeted, facebooked and blogged, so that’s 4 entries in total. Thanks. Take care!

    Hello, Tara.

Do you want our contact information before you announce the winner? Or are you asking for the contact information postannouncement and only for the winner?
BTW, don’t you already get our email address when we leave a reply on your website?

  • tara

    Hi Lex & Han,

You don’t have to get me your contact information until after I post the winner … but you’re welcome to do so if that’s easier for you.

And no, I don’t get email from your reply on my website. At least I don’t know that I do—if it exists out there in some sort of fascinating Internet way, I don’t know about it.

    Thanks for writing!

    Blessings,
    Tara B.

    Hey Tara,
I would like to be entered in the contest and to thank you for sharing so much of yourself in this ministry. I am working my way through your video series on peacemaking and am hopeful for transformation in family dynamics.
On a side note, I would like to reintroduce myself to you as a fellow alum of U of I. I actually knew Fred more than I knew you. I was also an FAR resident, as was Fred, and a part of IV. My maiden name was Corris. I thought I recognized you when I was ordering the materials and then I noticed the last name. :).

  • Rick Lin

We’ve been doing the Resolving Everyday Conflict at our church and would love to see if our Women’s ministry would be interested.

  • Debbie

Oh, I would love to win and share! I just found you and I’m so grateful I did!:-) watched some of your sample videos! Awesome!

Whomever wins – you really win! These resources are wonderful. Tara, I’m hoping to air the interview we did last fall – in January. Yes, things move very slowly in Delaware! So hopefully, we can offer one of your resources as a give away at that time, too. Much love to you as you continue to surrender to God’s purposes and share your journey with us!

  • Stephanie Terry

Tara – these resources would be wonderful – I have already purchased the Young Peacemaker series and am considering it for VBS this summer at our church. Your conference with us a few weeks ago continues to uplift and edify me, and I’m working through your audio downloads too – loving it all – thank you!

  • Claudia Lee

Hi Tara! I just heard Peacemaker’s mediation services mentioned again in a conversation last night. These principles are great and you are a gifted teacher! Thanks for the opportunity to win! I’ll share this on my Facebook page and in our SCC Women’s Group. Have a great day!

  • Carolyn

I enjoy reading your blog daily. I love the fact that you are so transparent and honest about your life and how you allow God’s grace to work in and through all situations. 🙂 I would like to be entered for the free stuff!! May God bless you.

  • Lynell

I would love to win any resources from you 🙂 A couple of years ago, you spoke at a ladies’ retreat which we really enjoyed. We have shared the peacemaking ministry quite often. THANKS for offering!
