My friend Keri and I yesterday just found FREE tickets to the 2011 CCEF Conference on Psychiatric Disorders (A Compassionate Look at Complex Problems) and WOW! Are we excited! I’m sure these messages (and my current re-readings of Ed Welch’s Blame it on the Brain and his article series on the Basics About Bipolar) will only fuel my happy anticipation of getting to study God’s Word, worship, learn, pray, and be challenged by and with dear friends this fall.

(Oooh! I wonder if they’ll allow me to LiveBlog the Conference again? How fun would THAT be?)

Oh well—-turning my attention away from OCTOBER and back to my Sabbath morning now …
