With Many Thanks to Ken Sande …
Fred did a great job on this video and I had a grand time helping him by digging through boxes of 30-year old photographs and finding old VHS tapes and audiocasettes of the first editions of various peacemaking resources. Can you find the 29-year olds Fred and Tara in this montage? We’re only on screen for a blip, but my hair is very big. Apparently I kept my 80’s hair into the 90’s … Enjoy! And thanks again, Ken and Corlette Sande. We appreciate you so very much. Peacemaker Ministries – 30 Years of Ministry

(Partial) Relational Wisdom 360 – Ken Sande Workshop

But then Fred suggested that a portable keyboard for my iPhone might enable me to broadcast during the sessions … so I’m going to give it a try. Please check back around 8:00PM Thursday night and if I can make the technology work, it will be my joy to share some updates from the conference with you. You may also want to watch the Peacemaker blog for a live video feed, or even sign up for the…

Nothing to be gained by dying on the hill of a best memory contest …
As usual, Dave has all of the best lines in our most recent post, including this one: When it comes to redeeming conflict, “There is nothing to be gained by dying on the hill of a best memory contest.” Amen to that, brother! Hope you enjoy the entire post: Redeeming Church Conflict is Not an Event—But an Unfolding Process of God’s Grace

Are we really supposed to fear the Lord?
I greatly enjoyed this post from Gentle Reformation and I commend it to you: Are We Really Supposed to Fear the Lord? This last paragraph provides a strong summary: “The word yare’ in its various forms appears 435 times throughout the Old Testament. Of those uses, almost eighty percent refer to the fear of the Lord. Obviously, Scripture wants us to know that God is indeed the most powerful object ever to be faced and he is greatly to be feared. If we are under his wrath, how great that fear must be in its dread, terror, and anguish. But if we are resting in his mercy by penitent faith in his…
