Two Very Specific HEADS-UP (might not apply to you …)

I realize that these two pieces of advice will only apply to a small number of people who read my blog—and that the number of people who overlap into being helped by both is so tiny as to be almost nil. But they’ve both been on my heart and so, here goes:

1. If you know anyone flying out of Billings during the holiday season, be sure to let them know that, beginning Thursday, December 15, we will have THREE large planes departing Billings in the 6AM to 6:30AM time slot. So if you only allow the standard (15 minute!) time to get through our wonderful, friendly, tiny TSA screening location, you will more than likely miss your flight. And I know Billings often HOLDS flights for passengers, but my buds at TSA and Delta have warned me that they’re not going to do so during the holidays because almost everyone on those flights is connecting through to OTHER flights, so timely departures are required.

2. If you are a Certified Christian Conciliator with the Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker Ministries, and you haven’t updated your Interview Agreement and Client Information forms in awhile, you may want to carefully read through them AND read through the new/newly numbered Introduction to Christian Conciliation which seems to have been folded into the (former) Frequently Asked Questions. I’m currently working to open a formal case for some clients and I just saw that my standard language (pointing them to Q17) is off. It should be Q20 now. (So, obviously, I’m checking all of my documents that reference the Rules/FAQs.)

Whew! OK. Now I’ve said it. Back to our regularly scheduled bloginess …
