Redeeming Church Conflicts

Our Editor Has Approved and Accepted our Manuscript!

We just heard the wonderful news from our editor at Baker Books that “Redeeming Church Conflicts” has gone through all of the major editing needed for completion and we are on track for a May 1, 2012 roll-out.

Needless to say, Dave Edling (my coauthor) and I are PSYCHED. Well. Dave is a very calm and reserved man, so maybe he is just “pleased”. But I AM PSYCHED! 🙂

One of the things we get to do in the following few months is bring a blog online related to our book’s topic (“redeeming church conflict”). So I was wondering if you guys could help me out a little …

Specifically, could you please put a comment on this post, or drop me an email or Facebook note letting me know in question form some of the MOST COMMON CHURCH CONFLICTS you know about. We’re going to try to have the main interactive part of our website be a Q&A format (with recommended resources, links, etc. also present).

So … name a church conflict!
What makes the people in your church really really MAD?
(Or what makes the people in a church down the street that you’ve only HEARD ABOUT really really mad? 🙂 )

Pretend you’re sitting with one of the most experienced Christian conciliators in church conflict (because you are! that’s Dave!) and you’d really like his help with a conflict in your church. Tell us about it. And we’ll do our best to give you a thoughtful, biblical, encouraging reply.

OK. That’s all the time I have for non-mommy / non-hosting-mother-in-law stuff today.

Hope your weekend is a blessed one!

Much love,
Tara B.
