Gospel Coalition LiveBlog #3: Paige Benton Brown – Fearing God in a Fallen World (Nehemiah 5-6)

Welcome to the “Replay” mode of Paige Benton Brown’s TGCW14 LiveBlog. In it, you can read not only her teaching content, but also her introductory interview comments (ball pit!), the Gettys’ corporate worship lyrics, and easily access links to all of the resources she mentioned throughout the session.

I hope that it is a blessing to you and to your loved ones at home who could not be with us here in Orlando! The LiveBlogs are particularly helpful if you need to fill in a citation that she mentioned quickly or you were wishing you could have captured a certain teaching illustration for your notes, say, for example, “The Lighthouse vs. Air Craft Carrier” example, perhaps? Or maybe Chrysostom’s responses to Emperor Arcadius’ threats?

‘Sire, you cannot banish me, for the world is my Father’s house.’

‘Nay, but you cannot slay me, for my life is hid with Christ in God.’

‘My treasures are in heaven, where none can break through and steal.’

‘Drive me from man, and I will have no friends left? That you cannot do, either, for I have a Friend in heaven who has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you.’

The “live” notes when we are on-air for the LiveBlogs, and the archive of notes in Replay mode, are our family’s gift to you. How grateful we are to Collin Hansen and Josh Matthews for granting me the joy and privilege of providing these LiveBlogs. (Thanks again, gentlemen!)

If you would like to read the other Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference LiveBlogs (on air tomorrow or in replay mode at any time), this page of my website will bring you to both the 2014 and 2012 Conference LiveBlogs.
