    Welcome Dinner at AmazingGrace360

The CE&P Team and WASC Members treated all of the AG360 speakers to a lovely welcome dinner tonight. The food was delicious, but the most fun was just getting to spend time with one another … catching up, laughing together and praying together too. (I even scored sweet hugs and warm greetings from Jane Patete, Nancy Guthrie, and Elyse Fitzpatrick. Fun!) Of course, while I was enjoying sweet food and fellowship, Samara was slaving away in our exhibition booth … unpacking boxes, putting together complex cantilevered fake walls to display Peacemaker posters and ads for my dvd series. What a friend! Don’t you think our booth looks nice?  We’re going…

LiveBlogs from the PCA Amazing Grace 360 Conference

If you can get to Atlanta October 7-9, I would love to see you at the PCA Women’s Conference AmazingGrace360. But even if you can’t be there in person, you can follow the general sessions (and even join in the conversation!) by participating in the LiveBlogs: (If you have no idea what a LiveBlog is, you can see what they are like by clicking through the “replays” of the CCEF LiveBlogs and PCA LiveBlogs I’ve done in the past.) Oh! And if you are in Atlanta and see me LiveBlogging, I’d love for you to stop by and say hello. If you’d like, I can even include your photo on…

Hello to All of My AmazingGrace360 Friends!

How super fun! Within minutes of Kathy Wargo sending out my email greetings to the women signed up for my workshops and seminars at AmazingGrace360, I’m already receiving FaceBook friend invites, Twitter followers, and emails (!). I am so happy to meet you all and I can’t wait for Atlanta. Can you believe it’s NEXT week? Crazy! Right now, I’m actually working on trimming my testimony for the second General Session. I must have it between 8 and 10 minutes and I’m having a very hard time hitting that mark. (As my pastor likes to gently poke at me, “With Tara? Why 5 words when 500 will do?” 🙂 )…

Miss Jane, I love you! And I’m praying for you too.

What a joy and privilege it was to serve at the PCA Women’s Ministry Leadership Training! My time there totally made me long for AmazingGrace360 (can’t wait!) and, well … Heaven. That’s what sweet fellowship, God-centered teaching, and Christ-exalting worship does to me; it makes me long for Home. It also makes me grateful for the foretastes of Heaven that I experience every day. And one of those comes in a petite package by the name of Patete. Yes, Miss Jane, you are a true evidence of God’s grace to me. Your lavish love, patient care, and wise counsel has been a tremendous gift to me for almost a decade…

Quick Summary of the First General Session from the PCA WIC Leadership Training

There are 5,000+ words and lots o’ photos waiting for you in the replay of my LiveBlog from the first general session. I encourage you to check them out and also to check out the PCA Bookstore in the coming months to watch for a recording of the teaching because Ms. Paula Miles was excellent. She did a fantastic job of summarizing covenantal theology and she was (hooray!) preachin’ it to us ladies. It was GREAT. Let me tempt you to click through to the replay with just a few quotes from the session: Jane Patete, CE&P Women’s Ministries Coordinator: “We are thrilled that God brought you here; most importantly…
