    Welcome Dinner at AmazingGrace360

The CE&P Team and WASC Members treated all of the AG360 speakers to a lovely welcome dinner tonight. The food was delicious, but the most fun was just getting to spend time with one another … catching up, laughing together and praying together too. (I even scored sweet hugs and warm greetings from Jane Patete, Nancy Guthrie, and Elyse Fitzpatrick. Fun!) Of course, while I was enjoying sweet food and fellowship, Samara was slaving away in our exhibition booth … unpacking boxes, putting together complex cantilevered fake walls to display Peacemaker posters and ads for my dvd series. What a friend! Don’t you think our booth looks nice?  We’re going…

    Helping an Orphan RIGHT NOW

Rewarding myself with a quick look at my top five favorite blogs while I ate lunch, I couldn’t move past Urban Servant’s  post today without clicking through, crying, praying, and financially supporting Sarah’s Covenant Homes. Please consider doing the same. You’ll never regret it.

Redeeming Church Conflicts by Tara Barthel & Dave Edling

Baker Books said we could release the cover art to you at the end of September, so here is a sneak-peek at what our new book is going to look like. We love the Church! Blessings on your Tuesday—   Your friend, Tara B.

Hope your Monday is going well too. Yours, Tara B.

    Hope for Distressed Believers

“Are you a distressed believer? Is your heart pressed down with sickness, tried with disappointments, overburdened with cares? To you I say this day, ‘Behold the cross of Christ.’ Think whose hand it is that chastens you; think whose hand is measuring to you the cup of bitterness which you are now drinking. It is the hand of Him who was crucified! It is the same hand which, in love to your soul, was nailed to the accursed tree. Surely that thought should comfort and hearten you.  Surely you should say to yourself, ‘A crucified Savior will never lay upon me anything that is not for my good. It must…
